Season 1 - Matchday 8 - LondonUFC 1 - 2 Sadistic Legacy

London UFC 1 - 2 Sadistic Legacy
Stitch 58' - AVFCRoss 82'

Sadistic Legacy continued their unbeaten start to the season, but only by the skin of their teeth as they were under constant pressure from an impressive London UFC team today.

The first half was one of the most one-sided 45 minutes of football you're likely to ever see, with The Legacy only getting out of their half for a minute or two of the entire match, London UFC's Strider was particularly impressive, calling on PaulNewman and Roosell to try and tame him early on with last-gasp tackles, and RyanBJK to make an impressive string of saves.

Sadistic Legacy have made a very impressive start
Nothing could be done though, when on the 33rd minute Strider's step-overs and speed were too much for the defence to handle, as he took them in his stride* and fired a rocket past RyanBJK.
* no pun intended

The second half looked like it would be more of the same, with Sadistic Legacy on the back-foot until a quick counter attack ended with Stitch leaping like the proverbial salmon to equalize with a header leaving Fatal Jay in no-man's-land on 58 minutes.

London UFC nearly caught them while they were still celebrating though, as they quickly piled the pressure back on and RyanBJK was again called into action to save the day, showing why he's rated amongst the top keepers in the world.

It looked like it was not to be Legacy's day in the 73rd minute, when a fantastic looping header by Steven One Don left Fatal Jay scrambling back to stop it crossing the line. Replays show it was a good 18 inches over, but Sven Stricter waved away the protests and play continued.

Karma struck 9 minutes later though, when AVFCRoss connected with yet another header to seal all 3 points for The Legacy.

Man of the Match
RyanBJK kept The Legacy from an absolute drubbing today, he made some unbelievable saves and really did well.

TheDan : ''We really shown today that we're a side that will never give up, after a pretty disappointing first half we were lucky to only go in at half time 1 goal down, but we fought back and managed to nab all 3 points.''
