Sadistic Legacy beat Pablo11, 6-5 at The Hive in what was arguably their most thrilling match of the season.

AVFCRoss put Legacy in front after just 6 minutes. A long ball from PervyJerv saw AVFCRoss beat the offside trap and he was one on one with the keeper. He brought it down with his chest and elegantly lobbed the keeper with his right foot.

10 minutes later Legacy doubled their lead. Another long ball from PervyJerv put Steven One Don through on goal and given his form this season, there was no way he was going to miss.

Near the half hour mark, Legacy were 3-0 up thanks to Stitch. Stitch skipped past 2 defenders before slotting home. Legacy looked sure to grab the 3 points.

Just as it started to look like Pablo11 were in for a thrashing, Hypdra got one back for them. Complacency from the Legacy defence gifted him the opportunity to score and he took it.

However, Sadistic Legacy restored their 3 goal advantage 6 minutes later. A lovely weighted cross from Showtime met the head of Steven One Don in the box to make it 4-1. Half-time.

It was a nervy start to the second half with Pablo11 scoring 2 goals in quick succession to make it 4-3, with strikes from Theicestar and Zeus55.

On 65 minutes Stitch put the Legacy players’ minds at ease by latching on to a Fiction through ball and blasted the ball into the roof of the net.

Theicestar made a magnificent run through the Legacy’s midfield and banged in a 30 yard screamer which RyanBJK had no chance of getting a hand to. Once again Pablo11 were right back in it!

Stitch came to the rescue once again and completed his hat trick, managing to pull off a great volley on the edge of the box thanks to Steven One Don’s cross.

Theicestar also completed his hat trick to once again reduce the deficit to one goal but Sadistic Legacy held out well and there was no time for Pablo11 to equalise. A thrilling game and well deserved win for the Legacy
