AVFCRoss scored a last minute penalty, as Sadistic Legacy continued their unbeaten start to the season, with a drama packed win against bottom of the league, OUFC 4EVER.

The Legacy started sluggishly, a stark contrast to their impressive form so far this season, and went 1-0 down on 38 minutes as Ryan619 played a wonderful one-two before finishing cutely from just inside the box.

It was evident Legacy needed some inspiration, and the second half produced some added bite as Stitch rose brilliantly in the box on 51 minutes to glance home a pinpoint cross from Fiction. However, OUFC went into the lead for the second time just past the hour mark, as Ryan619 nabbed his second goal of the game with a near post header that RyanBJK failed to keep out.

The Legacy refused to give up though, and on 73 minutes, Stitch picked up the ball from midfield and unleashed a curling effort from just outside the box which grazed the underside of the bar before nestling into the back of the net.

Then, the drama struck, and deep into injury time, Haze09 went on a solo run which saw him ended up being felled in the penalty area. Despite the claims the foul occured outside the box, the referee pointed to the spot and AVFCRoss kept his cool to dispatch the penalty, and snatched the 3 points for the Legacy.

Stitch stood out with two goals, and a battling performance in attack.

Stitch : "I couldn't believe it, we just kept pushing and pushing and eventually, our hard work paid off. From where I was, it looked like a dive for the penalty, but we'll take the decision"
