Season 1 - Matchday 25 - Sadistic Legacy 0-3 London UFC

Sadistic Legacy 0 - 3 London UFC

Sadistic Legacy produced a dissapointing performance as they slumped to a heavy home defeat against a buoyant London UFC side.

Legacy miss the chance to go 5th, as Pablo close the gap
Despite a few controversial moments, the Legacy were well beaten and the rout started on 11 minutes, as James Hung collected a tidy through ball from Biceps, and he ran through on goal and finished calmly.

It got worse for the Legacy on 18 minutes, as Biceps went on a mazy run, skinning 3 players and producing an excellent right footed finish from just outside the box.

PaulNewman looks on rejected at a hard home defeat
Any hopes of a Legacy comeback were dashed just before half time, as AVFCRoss was blatently tripped in the box, but Blindman waved away any appeals for a penalty from the Legacy team.

London UFC were good for their lead for the entire game, and the win was wrapped up on 67 minutes with a goal of the season contender, as Joe Well carried the ball the length of the pitch, taking it past 5 players before rifling an unstoppable shot into the top corner.

A win would have taken Legacy into 5th, within hindsight of other results, but they remain 6th, with just 2 points either side of CrashBiskuit and Pablo11.

Man of the Match
RyanBJK made the scoreline more respectable with a handful of key saves.

PaulNewman: "We went up against a strong London UFC team, knowing they've signed alot of players from Netwars Poland, so the're improving daily. I'm still proud of how we're playing, and if we can continue as we have been, we'll be on for a strong finish."

  1. We knew Legacy were going to put up a tough fight, and they did, especially in the first half but Zorkan did wonders for us in the box, keeping us ahead - and Joe's goal? Well magnificent - he's a great lad to have on the team. Legacy's ground's always a hard one to come to, but we dug in there and managed to come away with 3 points. - Sherlock

  2. Gotta be honest, thought this would be a routine win for us, but your lot were well worth the victory.

    Thanks for the comment!
