Season 1 - Matchday 21 - Sadistic Legacy 1-1 OUFC 4EVER

 Sadistic Legacy 1 - 1 OUFC 4EVER
Steven One Don 38'

Sadistic Legacy were left frustrated after playing out a 1-1 draw at home to OUFC 4EVER.

The match looked to be a very exhilarating one with Potty making it 1-0, 6 minutes from kick off. Ryan619 sent a cross to the far post which PaulNewman and TheDan failed to connect with and terrible defending from Sadistic Legacy saw Potty unmarked in the box and it was all too easy for him to score from a free header.

Not much happened in the match until Fiction was booked by Larry Lax in the 19th minute. PervyJerv carelessly lost possession to Byehello by the halfway line and as Fiction tried to win the ball back, he was quickly nutmegged by Byehello which sent the
Legacy away fans into cheers.

Fiction known for his short temperament lunged into the back of Byehello in an attempt to redeem himself. It was arguable a red card but Lax being his usual lenient self only gave a yellow. Fiction and The Legacy were relieved to say the least.

On 38 minutes, an OUFC freekick was well read by Steven One Don as he intercepted it. His blistering pace proved too much for the OUFC defence as he skipped past 2 defenders, rounded the keeper and tucked the ball into the net to make it 1-1. The Sadistic Legacy striker has been prolific for them all season and is rumoured to being closely watched by most of the top teams.

Just before the half-time whistle, AVFCRoss had the chance to put Sadistic Legacy in front for the first time in the match. A great cross by Stitch found him in the middle of the box but the keeper got a fingertip to it to send it out for a corner.

On the 67th minute TheDan swiped the ball from between Ryan619’s feet but just as TheDan was about to make off with the ball, Ryan619 stuck out a leg and in doing so earned himself a yellow card.

The rest of the match was a very tight and scrappy midfield battle with neither team being able to break the other down until the 90th minute when Showtime went on an Adel Taarabt-esque solo run in a last ditch effort to bag the 3 points for the Legacy. He glided past 3 players and was approaching the box with options either side of him. The OUFC defenders were outnumbered and The Legacy looked sure to score. Just as Showtime burst into the box, Larry Lax remembered he had to pick up from his dealer and blew his flute for full time. Legacy players and fans were furious at this decision but Larry Lax was already in the car park giving money to a dodgy looking character before anyone had noticed.

Man of the Match
Fiction worked tirelessly in midfield successfully keeping possession and breaking up play to prevent OUFC troubling the Legacy defence.

AVFCRoss: ''It's always frustrating not to win at home, but they were solid defensively and did a good job on us, it's just a shame we didn't have that cutting edge to beat them."
