Season 1 - Matchday 10 - Boston Utd 1-1 Sadistic Legacy

Boston Utd 1 - 1 Sadistic Legacy
Steven One Don 10' Missed Penalty 90+3'

The Legacy missed a golden oppurtunity to strengthen their league position with an away draw to struggling Boston Utd, but not without a large slice of controversy.

Things started well enough for Legacy, as Stitch turned 2 defenders inside out before cutting into the box and unselfishly chipping the ball towards the back post to leave Steven One Don with a simple headed finish on 10 minutes.

With the Legacy turning the screw, the first turning point occured on the 44th minute. Steven One Don beat the offisde trap, which prompted Gunny to race off her line and, in an act that could be more likened to GBH than a fair tackle, scissor kicked Steven One Don in the box. Blindman waved an advantage for a high boot against Steven One Don and promptly blew the half time whistle as an excuse to run from the chasing hoards of Legacy players.

Legacy gain a point, but remain 4th
As Steven One Don was supplemented with his half time oranges through a drip, Legacy came out determined to seek justice. However, after a drab second half, Legacy were pegged back on 88 minutes. Roosell casually tried to dribble the ball out of his own defence and was fouled by Bimbo519, who strode towards goal and rifled a deflected shot into the roof of the net.

Blindman was yet again tempted to blow up to the end the half in an attempt to escape the game in one piece, but drama was yet to strike for a final time. A fully recovered Steven One Don collected a reverse pass from Roosell 3 minutes into injury time and Gunny, clearly intent on finishing what she started, clattered into Steven One Don for a second time.

Under the obvious pressure of the Legacy team, Blindman remarkably gave the penalty and after dusting himself off, albeit still semi-unconscious, Steven One Don shakily placed the ball on the penalty spot and blazed the ball over, meaning the points were shared.

Man of the Match
PervyJerv was solid in midfield and put in a hard working shift.

AVFCRoss : ''We tried to get a word from Steven One Don, being the man of the moment, but courtesy of a mixture of embarassment and severe concussion, it was implausible for us to get an interview."
