Season 1 - Matchday 1 - Nottm Reds 3-3 Sadistic Legacy

Nottm Reds 3-3 Sadistic Legacy
AVFCRoss 20'  -  Steven One Don 37'  -  Stitch 67'

Sadistic Legacy kicked off the new season in a thrilling draw away to a strong Nottm Reds side, with a determined performance which saw them earn a well earned point.

Proceedings didn't start too well, with Rudieradford waltzing around the Legacy defence before slotting in from close range to give the Reds the lead on the 13th minute. However, just 7 minutes later, Steven One Don floated a delightful ball into the box for AVFCRoss to nod in completely unmarked from 6 yards out to claim the first goal of the new season for the Legacy.

Celebrations were short lived though, as on the 27th minute, Rudieradford showed some more magic to skip past a few challenges before curling a wonderful effort into the back of the Legacy net. However, an explosive first half ended as Stitch set up Steven One Don, whose powerful strike flew into the far corner and the Reds support was silenced for the second time in the match.

By comparison, the second half was tame, but the goal rush gave no signs of ending, as Stitch curled a sublime effort into the top corner on 67 minutes to send the away fans into raptures. Unfortunately, a dream start to the season wasn't to be, as a horrible defensive error from Haze09 on the edge of his own box gifted Rudieradford his hat-trick goal with just 16 minutes remaining.

Man of the Match
Stitch bossed the entire frontline, despite playing in a more unfamilar role of winger.

AVFCRoss : "It was a good performance, and it's always dissapointing to score 3 goals away from home and still somehow fail to come away with 3 points. That just shows you the caliber of opposition we're up against though, but we're confident we can match it and have a successful first season in a tough league."
