Season 1 - Matchday 33 - Sadistic Legacy 2 - 4 Toon Terrors

Sadistic Legacy 2 - 4 Toon Terrors
Steven One Don 15'  -  Stitch 56'

Sadistic Legacy were beaten by a solid Toon Terrors side in their penultimate game of the season, as they slumped to their lowest league position in 15 games.

The game started with a frantic tempo, as PaulNewman gave the ball away cheaply in his own penalty box on 9 minutes, and Steve Bradley capitalised to maximum effect, drilling the ball into the bottom corner.

The Legacy slumped to 8th, but cannot finish any lower
Steven One Don levelled things up just 6 minutes later, powering through the Toon Terrors midfield and hammering a shot into the top corner from just inside the box.

Showtime and PaulNewman celebrate a Legacy goal
The games lively pace continued, as Steve Bradley netted his second of the game on just 19 minutes with a tidy finish from just outside the area.

The killer blow was dealt just before half time, as a deep ball pumped into the Legacy box wasn't dealt with, and John Wilson pounced to prod the ball home to send the Toon into a 3-1 half time lead.

The Legacy came out positively, and responded through Stitch on 56 minutes, but the Toon confirmed their 3 points just past the hour mark as John Wilson got his second of the match to round off a solid victory.

Man of the Match
Showtime orchestrated the midfield, and battled hard against a tough midfield four.

AVFCRoss : ''They were better than us today, but we've had a solid season and have been better than our expectations.''
