Sadistic Legacy did the league double over EmmyUtd, as they scraped by with a narrow 1-0 victory courtesy of a first half stoppage time strike from Steven One Don.

The Legacy remain 7th, but stay on the back of CrashBiskuit

The game had a cagey start to it, with both sides seeming fairly tentative going forward, but the game was soon kicked into action on 13 minutes, as EmmyUtd's Peppi took the definition of a "high boot" to a completely new level.

As PaulNewman jumped for a standard header, Peppi came in from the side with an audacious bicycle kick, connecting with the side of PaulNewmans skull, and as Newman tried to screw his head back on, Clampdowner sent Peppi off.
 

The game opened up from here, and right on the stroke of the half time interval,  a long ball up the pitch was flicked on by AVFCRoss and Steven One Don allowed the ball to bounce once before stroking a wonderful effort into the bottom corner.

EmmyUtd tried to turned the screw in the second half, but it was the Legacy who were seeing more of the play.
 

AVFCRoss saw a header smartly saved, before Steven One Don squandered a glorious chance to seal the points on 82 minutes, as he produced a shot straight down the keepers throat in a  1 v 1 situation.

However, the Legacy held out for the 3 points, and look forward to a very appetizing run at home against some of the leagues lower placed teams.

Haze09 continues to impress at the back, blocking everyone and everything.
