Sadistic Legacy 3 - 2 Boston Utd

Stitch 44' 86'  -  Steven One Don 71'

 

The Legacy bounced back from a dissapointing defeat to Crash Biskuit, to come from 2 goals down and clinch 3 points against Boston Utd. Steven One Don put in a man of the match performance, but Stitch took the plaudits with an 86th minute winner, which sealed the comeback, and subsequently, all 3 points for the Legacy.

Matchday 19

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 2 Nottm Reds

    Steven One Don 5' 13'  -  AVFCRoss 33' 90'

The Legacy then hosted Nottm Reds, hoping to break their duck of never being able to beat them in the top flight in 3 attempts. The statement of intent was clear from Legacy, going 3-0 up within just 33 minutes, with a double from Steven One Don and an AVFCRoss strike. The reds made a valiant fightback effort, but AVFCRoss put the game beyond doubt in the 90th minute to finally record a Sadistic Legacy win over Nottm Reds in the league.

In a goalscoring rarity, Fiction gets onto the Legacy scoresheet.

Matchday 20

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 0 OUFC 4EVER

    AVFCRoss 27'  -  Stitch 39'  -  Steven One Don 73'  -  Fiction 81'

OUFC 4EVER were the third team in a row to visit the Legacy and come away pointless, in a result that saw an irregular goalscorer in the form of Fiction, being only the 4th player ever to score a league goal for the Legacy. It was a dominant performance, which also saw Legacy expose a very vunerable OUFC defence for the second time this season, with the 4 goals here being coupled with 5 goals in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

Matchday 21

Sadistic Legacy 3 - 3 Pablo11

    Stitch Missed Penalty 11'  -  Steven One Don 20' 79'  -  AVFCRoss - 45+1

  The hot streak the Legacy had started to muster was halted prematurely by a resiliant Pablo11 side, who managed to take away a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw. The Legacy contributed to their own downfall, as Stitch set the tone of the Legacy's luck, missing an 11th minute penalty. Despite Steven One Don (x2) and AVFCRoss getting on the scoresheet, Pablo11 easily matched the Legacy in front of goal and took a share of the spoils.

Matchday 22

Sadistic Legacy 0 - 4 Tank FC

     

After an emphatic 3-0 away win against Tank FC in the reverse fixture, the Legacy were hoping that lightening was to strike twice. However, that notion couldn't have been further from the truth as the Legacy were beaten for the first time in 4 matches in comprehensive style, to quash any hopes of a league double over Tank FC.

Matchday 23

Sadistic Legacy 5 - 0 Fog Squad

    AVFCRoss 20' 26'  -  Stitch 44' 72'  -  Steven One Don 63'

 

After the 4-0 hammering at home to Tank FC, the Legacy bounced back in ultimate fashion, dispatching 5 goals past Fog Squad to get back to winning ways. The game was effectively over at half time, with 2 goals in the space of 6 minutes for AVFCRoss, followed by a strike by Stitch on the stroke of half time. Steven One Don also nipped onto the scoresheet, before Stitch rubber stamped the victory with his second goal late on.

 

Matchday 24

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 5 London UFC

    Steven One Don 7'  -  Stitch 26'  -  AVFCRoss 40' 76'

In a contender for game of the season, Sadistic Legacy just came up short, losing to London UFC, despite scoring 4 goals. Both sides exchanged goals up until the break, where the half time scoreline read 3-3. London UFC went into the lead for the first time in the game in the second half, and just as AVFCRoss netted a 76th minute strike to level the game at 4-4, London UFC nicked a winner on 87 minutes to leave Legacy on the wrong end of the result.

 

Matchday 25

Burn My Bread 2 - 4 Sadistic Legacy

    Stitch 35' 44'  - Steven One Don 72'  - AVFCRoss 90+1

 

The Legacy made hard work of a battling Burn My Bread side, who look doomed to relegation after just 1 season in the top flight. Despite netting 2 in a tough performance, the Legacy were too superior, and after goals from Stitch (x2), Steven One Don and AVFCRoss sealing the win in second half stoppage time, it was an expected, but far from routine win for the Legacy.

 

Matchday 26

All Stars XI 0 - 3 Sadistic Legacy

    Steven One Don 33' 51'  -  AVFCRoss 74'

 

 The Legacy ran out dominant winners over All Stars XI, as they clinched their 15th win of the season. Steven One Don set the Legacy on their way for 2 goals either side of half time, before AVFCRoss put the game beyond any doubt with a strike on 74 minutes. 

 

The Legacy move into a solid 5th position, after picking up up 19 points from 9 games. Though a top 3 finish looks to be out of reach, 4th place is still within a very reasonable touching distance, and a good end to the season will be required for the Legacy to beat their current record of finishing positions.
