AVFCRoss excelled in this nine-goal thriller, bagging a brace and putting in a great all-round performance despite Pablo edging them to the 3 points.

There was no love lost between the two sides, with RyanBJK and Stitch both going into the ref's book after some crunching tackles.

Boston Utd 3 - 0 Sadistic Legacy

Legacy will be even more annoyed with their performance against Boston Utd, after failing to even get on the scoresheet against a team which they had no such problems with last season. Showtime looked the most lively, but it was certainly a case of being the best of a bad bunch.

BraveHearts 3 - 1 Sadistic Legacy

TheDan 26' 

A very rare goal from TheDan, coupled with a good performance from the young defender, couldn't do anything to help slow Legacy's free-fall down the league, this time suffering at the hands of BraveHearts. RyanBJK picked up yet another yellow card.

Toon Terrors 3 - 2 Sadistic Legacy

Steven One Don 70' 77'

Steven One Don was the only Legacy player to turn up against Toon Terrors, he picked up a yellow card, two goals and put in a man of the match performance, and still didn't even come away from the game with a point, as Toon beat them, to finish a very harsh stretch of games for Legacy.

Sadistic Legacy 1 - 5 Geronimo

Steven One Don 64'

In a game most of the Legacy fans would've expected them to dominate, to end their recent run of bad results, Legacy were about as much use as a chocolate teapot against a surprisingly impressive Geronimo side.

Fiction was definitely the stand-out player of the losing team, and Steven One Don took his goal well, but the entire team were helpless to a superior attacking display, and were caught out way too often.

Sadistic Legacy 1 - 4 All Stars XI

With the tally up to seven matches without as much as a point for the home team, Legacy hoped the match against All Stars XI would end their horrendous run, but the over-confidence of a few players, teamed with reckless challenges of a few others, meant that not only did Legacy lose for the eighth time in a row, but they also ended the match with only 8 men on the field, after TheDan, PaulNewman and Showtime were all sent off.

Roosell and RyanBJK could consider themselves lucky to stay on the pitch too, as they both escaped with just a yellow.

After eight straight defeats, Legacy must've been praying they wouldn't suffer yet another loss. Their prayers were answered, as a top performance gave them not only their first points in 9 matches, but also a clean sheet.

AVFCRoss and Steven One Don ran the show, as Legacy were definitely on Cloud Nine.

OUFC 4EVER 4 - 6 Sadistic Legacy

On a high from their curse being lifted, Legacy went to OUFC 4EVER as a revitalized team, Steven One Don bagged 4 goals and picked up a well deserved Man of the Match award. Shaidar also got on the scoresheet for the first time, with nice finish on the stroke of half time.

The Legacy kicked off the new season in a dominant fashion, in a baptism of fire for newly promoted Billville. Steven One Don scored 5 goals on a day where the Legacy tore apart a very shaky Billville side to go top of the league.

Sadistic Legacy 6 - 0 Logalers Utd

Off the back of one emphatic home win against a newly promoted side, came another, as the Legacy dispatched another 6 goals against Logalers Utd in another crushing performance. Goals from all sections of the pitch from Steven One Don, AVFCRoss, PervyJerv and TheDan secured victory for the Legacy as they made it 12 goals in just 2 games, to maintain their grip on 1st place in League 1.

LordOfTheWings 3 - 2 Sadistic Legacy

After a somewhat kind start to the season, the Legacy were suddenly thrown into the deep end, as they travelled to the reigning champions, LordOfTheWings, who had uncharacteristically started slowly, picking up just 1 point from their opening 2 games. The Legacy expected to take their good start into this game, and they looked good enough for a point courtesy of 2 second half goals from AVFCRoss, but the game was snatched from their grasp as they conceeded an 87th minute goal to lose their first game of the season.

Nottm Reds 1 - 5 Sadistic Legacy

The Legacy bounced back against a recently tough to beat Nottm Reds side, courtesy of a frontline on top form, as they hit goalscoring gold again with 4 first half goals sealing a comprehensive win. Suprisingly, it wasn't the 5 goal salvo that stole the headlines, but Steven One Don's 89th minute goal, which secured his 100th league goal for Sadistic Legacy.

Sadistic Legacy 9 - 0 Ball Draggers

Due to the dissolve of Crash Biskuit, who were forced to drop out of the league due to an insufficient amount of registered players, Ball Draggers FC were called upon to make up the numbers, something they quite literally look destined to do. The Legacy breezed to a guarenteed 3 points, as AVFCRoss went goal drunk, netting 6 goals, with Steven One Don and Stitch nudging onto the scoresheet too.

Wonderboys FC 3 - 3 Sadistic Legacy

The Legacy took their resurgent good form into an away tie with Wonderboys, where they played out a thrilling 3-3 draw. Steven One Don set the Legacy on their way, before the Wonderboys launched into a 3-1 second half lead. However, the Legacy battled back bravely, and a further Steven One Don goal and an AVFCRoss equaliser late on secured a valuable point for the Legacy.

Matchday 7

London UFC 5 - 4 Sadistic Legacy

    AVFCRoss 19'  -  Stitch 32'  -  Steven One Don 44' 59'

 

In a fixture that has always seemed to promise goals, London and the Legacy shared a 9 goal thriller, with the Legacy coming off on the wrong end of the result. Both teams exchanged goals for the duration of the match, before London UFC nicked an 87th minute winner to leave the Legacy pointless, and suffer just their second defeat of the season.

Matchday 8

Tank FC 3 - 0 Sadistic Legacy

   

The Legacy travelled to league runners up, Tank FC, and were dissapointingly rolled over in a poor performance. The slight hangover from the defeat to London UFC was evident, as the Legacy found themselves 2 goals down within 18 minutes. Despite their efforts, they couldn't force an opening, and were comfortably beaten to slip away from the top 3 positions in the league.

The Legacy started the season well, picking up 13 points, including 4 wins and 1 draw, but ending on poor form with just 1 point from their last 3 games.

Special Feature 4: Steven One Hundred

Steven One Don becomes the first Legacy player to score 100 league goals.

It was the 89th minute of the 4th matchday of season 3. The Legacy are cruising to a dominant win away at Nottm Reds, Stitch stands over a free, floats it into box, the ball is half cleared. 
 

The next touch of the ball is a momentus one, as Steven One Don takes a first time volley which flies into the top corner, scoring his 100th league goal for Sadistic Legacy.

The 8th ranked striker (At the time of writing) in the game becomes the first player to reach that magic milestone for Sadistic Legacy, and he speaks about his job in achieving that target.

How do you feel to be the first legacy player to score 100 goals in the league?

Steven One Don: I feel great, the fact that i get to play game in game out with 10 great players behind me makes it even better. I didnt think I'd ever reach such a goal tally.

What do you believe your limits are? Can you reach 500? 

Steven One Don: Who knows? Take one game at a time, I never thought id even get to 100 so anything is possible.

Do you believe you'll ever reach number 1 in the game? 

Steven One Don: Yes I do believe I will. Since the League changed how us as players are able to train and gain more fame via the media it will be much tougher to catch up, but I believe I will in the coming months!  
 

How much credit do you give to the team?

Steven One Don: Every bit, this is a team effort not a one man effort, as long as we are getting the points thats whats REALLY matters.  
 

What is your response to other clubs who may be interested in your services? 

Steven One Don: I've had a lot of speculation surrounding my transfer to other clubs, many top clubs have contacted my agent to hold talks with me, but Im not interested at moving at all. Sadistic legacy has treated me well, and I plan to keep scoring goals for them for a long time to come!

Season 2 : Review

Sadistic Legacy Season 2 Review

Sadistic Legacy finished 4th in League 1, tying with Toon Terrors on 67 points, but obtaining a superior goal difference, however, also finishing a considerable distance behind the top 3.

 

Sadistic Legacy capitalised on their 7th place finish last time, to finish 4th.

The Legacy ended up level on points with Toon Terrors, but their superior goal difference settled their place in 4th position. The monopoly of the top 3 was nowhere close to being threatened, but the Legacy will be more than happy with their 4th place finish.

LordOfTheWings ended up being run closer for their crown this year by Tank FC, but still came away to claim their 2nd League title in successive seasons, clinching the title by 4 points, but finishing 9 points shy of their winning total in season 1.

As was the same last season, the relegation issue was more academic, with all 3 teams being shy of safety from a considerable distance.

Burn My Bread and OsMoces couldn't handle the the higher standard of League 1, and will be playing League 2 football again next season, with Emmy Utd joining them, as the other newly promoted side, All Stars XI survived in 15th place.

The Legacy slumped to a shock home defeat, as they were beaten 1-0 by a resiliant Wonderboys side. After conceeding a 7th minute header, the Legacy couldn't break down a tough Wonderboys defence, who held out for the majority of the game to claim a priceless 3 points at the expense of the Legacy.

Sadistic Legacy 3 - 1 Toon Terrors

The Legacy faced a tough match to bounce back from such a defeat, home to a solid Toon Terrors side. The magnitude of the game was heightened, with both sides going head to  head for 4th place in the league table, with the top 3 out of reach, but it was the Legacy who came out on top, courtesy of a Steven One Don hat-trick.

Sadistic Legacy 3 - 2 WidowMakers

Buoyed by a convincing victory against Toon Terrors, the Legacy welcomed a struggling WidowMakers side, who helped play their part in a thrilling 5 goal game. After a first half of frustration where the Legacy were held 1-1, the second half sparked the game into life. Steven One Don missed a golden chance to put the game beyond doubt by skying a penalty, before WidowMakers equalised just 8 minutes before time. However, Stitch provided the sting in the tail, scoring just 2 minutes later to clinch the 3 points.

After a few tight games, the Legacy put in a convincing goalscoring performance, dispatching a sub-par Emmy Utd side by 4 goals to 0. AVFCRoss and Steven One Don shared the scoresheet, but a solid defensive performance also saw the Legacy keep their first clean sheet in 4 games.

Chasing a fourth league win in a row, the Legacy welcomed title chasing LordOfTheWings. However, the eventual champions strength was too much for the Legacy to contain, and their 3 match winning streak was halted. After being 3-0 down at half time, the Legacy replied twice in the second half to set up a tense finish, but the Wings secured the win as Legacy searched for a late equaliser.

OsMoces 2 - 5 Sadistic Legacy

The Legacy travelled to an already relegated OsMoces team, as Steven One Don stole the show with a 4 goal salvo. OsMoces battled hard for their 2 goals, but ultimately played like a beaten side, as the Legacy stuck 5 past them, and Steven One Don ran rampant as he inched towards 100 league goals for the Legacy.

A thrilling game saw the Legacy avenge their early season loss to Bravehearts, as they edged out a close game to claim all 3 points, and secure their 4th placed league position at the expense of Toon Terrors. After going 3-1 down, the outlook seemed bleak for the Legacy, but another Steven One Don hat-trick, including an 82nd minute winner was the difference, as the Legacy scraped through winners in a classic encounter.

Sadistic Legacy 5 - 0 CrashBiskuit

    AVFCRoss 6' 32'  -  Stitch 14'  -  Steven One Don 21' 82'

In the last official competitive match for CrashBiskuit as a formed team, the Legacy sent them out in cruel fashion. Only being able to field 2 players, CrashBiskuit were set to fold forever, and after beating the Legacy 5-1 in the seasons reversed fixture, which emphasises how quickly their demise has come, their dissolve was imminent. When the majority of the Legacy signed for the club, CrashBiskuit were the team to beat, which makes it a bit of a shame to see such a club seize to exist.

The Legacy finished a very impressive 4th place, equal with Toon Terrors, with the exact same record that included 21 wins, 4 draws and 9 losses.

The Legacy bounced back from a dissapointing defeat to Crash Biskuit, to come from 2 goals down and clinch 3 points against Boston Utd. Steven One Don put in a man of the match performance, but Stitch took the plaudits with an 86th minute winner, which sealed the comeback, and subsequently, all 3 points for the Legacy.

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 2 Nottm Reds

The Legacy then hosted Nottm Reds, hoping to break their duck of never being able to beat them in the top flight in 3 attempts. The statement of intent was clear from Legacy, going 3-0 up within just 33 minutes, with a double from Steven One Don and an AVFCRoss strike. The reds made a valiant fightback effort, but AVFCRoss put the game beyond doubt in the 90th minute to finally record a Sadistic Legacy win over Nottm Reds in the league.

In a goalscoring rarity, Fiction gets onto the Legacy scoresheet.

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 0 OUFC 4EVER

OUFC 4EVER were the third team in a row to visit the Legacy and come away pointless, in a result that saw an irregular goalscorer in the form of Fiction, being only the 4th player ever to score a league goal for the Legacy. It was a dominant performance, which also saw Legacy expose a very vunerable OUFC defence for the second time this season, with the 4 goals here being coupled with 5 goals in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.

  The hot streak the Legacy had started to muster was halted prematurely by a resiliant Pablo11 side, who managed to take away a point in a thrilling 3-3 draw. The Legacy contributed to their own downfall, as Stitch set the tone of the Legacy's luck, missing an 11th minute penalty. Despite Steven One Don (x2) and AVFCRoss getting on the scoresheet, Pablo11 easily matched the Legacy in front of goal and took a share of the spoils.

After an emphatic 3-0 away win against Tank FC in the reverse fixture, the Legacy were hoping that lightening was to strike twice. However, that notion couldn't have been further from the truth as the Legacy were beaten for the first time in 4 matches in comprehensive style, to quash any hopes of a league double over Tank FC.

After the 4-0 hammering at home to Tank FC, the Legacy bounced back in ultimate fashion, dispatching 5 goals past Fog Squad to get back to winning ways. The game was effectively over at half time, with 2 goals in the space of 6 minutes for AVFCRoss, followed by a strike by Stitch on the stroke of half time. Steven One Don also nipped onto the scoresheet, before Stitch rubber stamped the victory with his second goal late on.

Sadistic Legacy 4 - 5 London UFC

In a contender for game of the season, Sadistic Legacy just came up short, losing to London UFC, despite scoring 4 goals. Both sides exchanged goals up until the break, where the half time scoreline read 3-3. London UFC went into the lead for the first time in the game in the second half, and just as AVFCRoss netted a 76th minute strike to level the game at 4-4, London UFC nicked a winner on 87 minutes to leave Legacy on the wrong end of the result.

Burn My Bread 2 - 4 Sadistic Legacy

The Legacy made hard work of a battling Burn My Bread side, who look doomed to relegation after just 1 season in the top flight. Despite netting 2 in a tough performance, the Legacy were too superior, and after goals from Stitch (x2), Steven One Don and AVFCRoss sealing the win in second half stoppage time, it was an expected, but far from routine win for the Legacy.

All Stars XI 0 - 3 Sadistic Legacy

 The Legacy ran out dominant winners over All Stars XI, as they clinched their 15th win of the season. Steven One Don set the Legacy on their way for 2 goals either side of half time, before AVFCRoss put the game beyond any doubt with a strike on 74 minutes. 

 

The Legacy move into a solid 5th position, after picking up up 19 points from 9 games. Though a top 3 finish looks to be out of reach, 4th place is still within a very reasonable touching distance, and a good end to the season will be required for the Legacy to beat their current record of finishing positions.
